Implementation Flexible
Our solution can be implemented as a stand alone system providing all
the functionality directly from it's structures or can be implemented as
an interface bridge to provide web based access of specific modules and
systems to internal and external users through the internet. Our solution
can be integrated with any Hospital System through standard interface protocols.
HL7 Compliance
The system provides a fully functional HL7 interface listener
program, which provides the capability to seamlessly integrate
with other third party HL7 compliant Systems on an online basis totally
transparent to physicians at the data level.
DICOM Compliance
TechDoc™ offers the facility to seamlessly integrate
data with image from existing PACS systems like ALI and AGFA on an online
basis, which follows the industry DICOM standards. This facility compliments
the Patients Report data with a series of DICOM images thus captured online.
The TechDoc™ system provides for an in built capability to
display image data in jpeg and other popular image formats like gifs,
etc.
HIPAA Compliance
TechDoc™ system is fully HIPAA compliant. The TechDoc™
system offers Access control in terms of Context-based access, Role-based
access, and User-based access. In addition other HIPAA stipulations such
Authorization, Data Authentication, Communications/network controls and
data integrity has been fully incorporated into the system.
TechDoc™ Intelligence
The TechDoc™ system provides for the capability of intelligently
displaying required screens to log in authenticated physicians based on
predefined business rules and available data maintained in its relational
database. The report data displayed by TechDoc™ is based
on the physician's specific display preferences over ruling default operations
provided for in the system.
User Defined norms
The system provides for the physicians to customize and operate the
system on the fly over ruling standard default operations both a functional
and look and feel point of view based on his/her user preferences via
the user preferences module provided for in the system.
Language Independent
The system provides the ability to select the language in which the
user would like to see the screen displays. Furthermore the system provides
system administration screen where the organization can change the labels
in the screen so it follows the organization's standard nomenclature.
E Mail Facility
The system provides for the Physicians to E Mail across the Report
and associated images as required by them. This feature value adds to
the existing functionality of the TechDoc™ system.
User Customized Screens
The system further enables the Physician to customize the screen contents
based on his/her aesthetic preferences.
Search Engine
The TechDoc™ System has been provided with a powerful
search engine to cull out information from its relational database in
an optimum manner. The result list screen can be further sorted as desired
by the physician with active hyper links provided to zoom in on any required
report.
3- and n-Tier Architecture
The TechDoc™ system follows a 3- and n-Tier Architecture
wherein the client tier is made up of client browser, the middle tier
comprises of the business logic/application server and the data server
tier comprises of the relational data base. TechDoc™ has
been developed using Java. The solution uses JRUN as the middle tier component,
Microsoft IE 5.0 as the client browser and MS SQL Server 2000 as the data
tier. The TechDoc™ System Operates under the Windows 2000
operating system. This provides a cost effective and scaleable solution
for any organization implementing our system. In addition, it reduces
maintenance and minimizes the hardware and software costs.
